St. Lawrence - Lewis BOCES Administrative Facility

This project involved the conversion of a former nursing home to a centralized, consolidated administrative facility. The exterior was redesigned to appear as a business occupancy and conform to the architectural identity SLL BOCES has established at its three major education centers. In addition to the reconstructed exterior walls, outside construction included new roofing, parking lot and site lighting.

On the interior, the building was organized by department and former bedrooms were converted into offices. The building’s central common area is used as a training and conference center. New air handling units, ductwork, lighting and data distribution systems were provided to create an environment suitable for the building’s new use.
