This $9.8 million renovation at Louis V. Denti Elementary School included a complete upgrade and reconfiguration of the K-4th grade facility. The school boasts a bold new look with its colorful color palette and exciting new spaces. Among them, were the new expanded handicapped accessible Library, Multiply Handicapped Classroom, Entry Addition, Classrooms, Gymnasium, Kitchen, Cafetorium, and corridor features such as lockers and porcelain tile. The site was also upgraded with the proper drainage, grading, and parking elements while also featuring a new play scape and an exterior reading area.
"...having worked at Denti when it first opened in 1971 and now serving as president of the Board of Education when it reopened in Sept. of 2013 after being closed for a year, I can honestly say that this building is absolutely a brand new building which I personally think is even better than it was when it was first built."
