Laboratory & Telecommunications Building

The Laboratory & Telecommunications Building was designed to invigorate the image of MVCC in its formation of an alternative, state-of-the-art center for campus and community life. The building creates a new focus for the site and further defines the campus quad. This new focal point houses the following primary functions:

• Multi-purpose auditorium/theater and related support, for both academic use and theatrical/musical productions;
• Conference Center: 100 person flat-floor room, with associated smaller conference rooms;
• Computer Center: 24-hour open access lab and computer teaching labs;
• General purpose classrooms with "smart classroom" capabilities;
• Support space, computer services and faculty offices.
